Print-Making (In-Person)

March 20 to April 10, 2022
Hands-on print making workshops in-person at “The Workshop” at Crow Designs Studio on Adams Avenue in downtown Scranton. Learn various relief printmaking techniques in this fun 4-part series. Each class meets for 2.5 hrs.
Day 1: Carve Your Own Stamps – Pattern Workshop
Learn to cut stamps out of large rubber erasers to create patterns on paper & fabric
Day 2: Linoleum Block Relief Printing
Transfer images to linoleum, learn how to cut and print – by hand and on the press
Day 3: Introduction to Letterpress
Learn to set type and to print with wood and metal type – can be used with your block design
Day 4: Multiple Color Printing
Learn to create and register a multiple color print; combine relief printing with monoprinting and simple background images
COST OF COURSE: $20 suggested donation to The Greenhouse Project.
