Spring ART Workshop with Artist Renée Emanuel

April 25 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm EDT

A FUNdraiser benefitting The Greenhouse Project’s Public Programming

Saturday, April 25, 2026   (11:00 am – 3:00 pm)

Winter, we’re done with you. Come welcome spring with a joyful, one-day drawing and painting workshop at The Greenhouse Project, led by artist Renée Emanuel.
Always wanted to try drawing or watercolor? Feeling a little creatively rusty? Or just craving a few hours to slow down and make something beautiful? This workshop is for you.

THE WORKSHOP:
We’ll practice the art of seeing—really noticing the shapes, colors, and rhythms of spring flowers—and gently translating what we observe onto paper. It’s relaxing, meditative, and surprisingly fun. No experience needed, just curiosity.

We’ll warm up with guided drawing in the morning, then loosen up with expressive watercolor washes in the afternoon (with a lunch break in between). Expect a welcoming, no-pressure atmosphere where play and exploration matter more than getting things “right.” Think less perfection, more discovery.  Come play with color, celebrate spring, and support a great cause—we’d love to create with you!

THE ARTIST:
Renée Emanuel is an award-winning painter and teacher with an MFA from Marywood University. Her work has appeared in Country Living Magazine and exhibitions across the region and beyond.
