ABOUT FARM ARTS COLLECTIVE:
Located at Willow Wisp Organic Farm in Damascus, PA, Farm Arts Collective offers diverse programs that intersect Art with Agriculture, and are dedicated to engaging community in life-sustaining practices that improve and enhance rural life.
Founded in 2018 by farmer and theatre artist, Tannis Kowalchuk, the company operates a greenhouse dedicated to farm-based workshops, performances, rehearsals, education, and community events. Both Tannis and the board are committed to offering nourishment – both from the healthy food grown on the farm and from innovate art that speaks to important issues of the day. They believe that community connection, culture and inclusive engagement are equally important forms of sustenance and well-being.
