Kayaking – Intermediate Level Paddle

At Lackawanna State Park, North Abington Twp, PA

Saturday, August 12, 2023 – 6:00-8:00 pm

Join us at Lackawanna State Park for an Intermediate Level Group Paddle. Kayaks, paddles, and life jackets provided. Bring sunscreen, water shoes, and a drink. Must be able to ambulate uneven terrain and lower yourself into and out of the kayak. Must have pre-existing knowledge of how to get into, out of, and safely maneuver a kayak. Tandem kayaks available by request. We are able to accommodate a limited number of paddlers bringing their own boats, as well. First registered, first served.
Limited space. No drop-ins.
This event is for a maximum of 15 people and geared towards older adults.

This event is Free of Charge to Greenhouse Project OAOA Members – and $20 for all other attendees.

Please note:
Due to a high rate of “No-Shows” in recent times – we now require a $20 deposit to hold your spot for any kayaking sessions. This deposit will be refunded to you after you have enjoyed the paddle. For those that do not show up (keeping someone else from enjoying the opportunity to enjoy that time on the water), your $20 will be considered a donation to The Greenhouse Project.
