(Due to heat, July & August Sessions will be at The Schimelfenig Pavilion in Nay Aug Park, Scranton. Accessible by the Olive Street entrance to the Park.)
Instructor Mindy Hill leads these weekly gentle yoga classes, focused on healing in the body and mind. Enjoy the healing benefit of gentle yoga, meditation, mindfulness and deep breathing exercises. Free and open to the community, our participants are experiencing greater range of motion, better balance, increased strength, less pain, reduced stress and anxiety.
Positions can be done on a chair or bring mat – bring your own in either case. Please dress in layers for your comfort. No registration required, just drop in. No experience or special clothing needed. Come as you are.
Science is proving that it is not only the food we eat – but that movement is essential for us to improve our overall health.
