Walks begin promptly at 10 am, so please arrive early! Sorry, no pets allowed on these walks.
SAINT CATHERINE’S CEMETERY & MOFFAT ESTATE, Daleville, PA
3 miles moderate.
Theme: “Lollipop Loop de Loop.†Two interesting loops with stately trees and covered bridge. A couple of hills on pavement, and a gentle, meandering woods path.
DIRECTIONS:
GPS Address: 1252 Drinker Turnpike, Covington Township, PA. No restrooms at trailhead.
Take Route 307 South out of Scranton about 10 miles to traffic light at Route 690. Turn left on Route 690 and go about 3 miles to traffic light on Route 435. Turn right on Route 435 about a mile to Cemetery on right, Turn into signed main entrance Saint Catherine’s Cemetery, and park along first road to the right.
