This walk begins promptly at 11:30 am, so please arrive early! Sorry, no pets allowed on these walks.

JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP RECREATIONAL TRAIL,  Mount Cobb
Out a flat, gravel woods trail to a delightful little pond. Last year we saw numerous white ladies’ tresses
(spiranthes) orchids growing around the pond. 1 mile

DIRECTIONS:
GPS Address:
Community Drive, Mount Cobb, PA.
 
Driving Directions:
From Scranton, go north on Harrison Avenue to Wheeler Avenue, to North Blakely Street in
Dunmore. Continue straight through Throop to traffic light at Marshwood Road. Turn right on Marshwood
Road and go all the way up the mountain passing the Eales Preserve and Moosic Lakes to traffic light on Route
348. Turn left at the traffic light and go a couple of miles to Community Drive on the left. It is right before
Ritters Farm Stand and Winery. Turn left on Community Drive and park on the left.
COST OF EVENT: $5 Suggested Donation. Payable in person or ONLINE HERE.
Children under 16 – FREE. Greenhouse Project OAOA Members – FREE.
