The Electric City Flower Show
Saturday, August 6, 2022 – 10 am to 4 pm
(In Scranton’s Nay Aug Park)
The Greenhouse Project is Proud to Sponsor and Participate in Scranton’s annual flower show hosted by Nay Aug Park Recreation Municipal Authority. The public is welcome to come enjoy gardens throughout Nay Aug Park, watch competitions for blooms and floral designs (including children’s categories), take a guided Nature Walk through Nay Aug Park, enjoy free admission to the Everhart Museum, listen to live music, and more. There will also be pecialized growers and vendors alongside local gardening and environmental societies, charities and organizations.
During the hours of the show (10am-4pm) there will be custodians and volunteers welcoming you in the following gardens:
Monica Project Memorial Pollinator Garden
(Located at the rear of the James Barrett McNulty Greenhouse, home of the Greenhouse Project)
The R. N. Davis Memorial Rose Garden
(500 Arthur Avenue)
The Butterfly Garden
(Located next to St. Cats)
The Chestnut Grove
hosted by NY Chapter of The American Chestnut Foundation
(Located near the Everhart Museum, 11am – 2pm)
OTHER ACTIVITIES
Live Music. (In the Melody Garden. Times to be advertised). Acoustic Sessions

The Everhart Museum. is offering FREE ADMISSION!

A Guided Nature Walk led by naturalist, Jane Frye 9am – 9:45am

(At the 120-year-old Historic Brooks Drift Mine. Please note, the mine will NOT be open for tours)

Workshops will be held by our vendors and guest speakers in the Bandstand (near the Everhart Museum). Pre-registration is not required but seating will be limited.
