New Class! At Lackawanna State Park
“Birding with Binoculars”
Saturday, June 28, 2025 (7:30 AM)
OK, Early Birds!! Tag along for a leisurely walk with Ranger Tony DeSantis as we look and listen for birds migrating through NEPA. We’ll learn to identify what we come across and discuss the natural history of different birds. This is geared to anyone who enjoys watching birds and interested in learning more about our feathered friends.
Lackawanna State Park is a great place for birdwatching because of its many habitats. You can see a variety of birds, including waterfowl, woodland birds, and birds of prey.
Terrain: flat, along pavement and grass. Binoculars will be provided or bring your own.
