Celebrate Honeybees and the role of all pollinators in the Harvest Season at The Greenhouse Project in Nay Aug Park!
The day kicks off with a Honeybee Costume Parade across Nay Aug Park – over to all the Festivities at The Greenhouse Project. Scroll down for full details of the day!

12:00 Noon – HONEYBEE COSTUME PARADE

Join the Swarm! Help Kick Off Honeybee & Harvest Day
with our famous parade buzzing through Nay Aug Park!

ALL AGES JOIN IN THE COSTUME PARADE THRU THE PARK!
PARADE BEGINS at 12:15 pm. MEET at 12:00 Noon at
THE DAVID WENZEL TREEHOUSE in NAY AUG PARK.

Get creative!! Wear black and yellow as we march with a marching band to the Greenhouse to salute the honeybees and the beauty of the harvest. Create your Bee Costume and Meet at the parking lot near The Tree house in NayAug at 12noon. Parade Begins at 12:15 sharp and marches with the band to The Greenhouse!
HONEYBEE COSTUME PARADE SCHEDULE:
12:00 Noon – Parade Forms at The David Wenzel Treehouse in Nay Aug Park
Park in the parking lot near The Treehouse or in the lots near the Everhart Museum
12:15 pm – Parade departs The Treehouse and Buzzes Through the Park
Following our Queen Bee and marching with our marching band, members of The West Scranton Marching Invaders, we’ll fly from The Treehouse over to The Greenhouse where we’ll join in all the fun at Honeybee & Harvest Day!
No time to make a costume? Wear black or yellow and we’ll stripe you up with tape to look like a bee! Buzzz!
