Sorry\, no pets allowed on these walks.\n\n\nLACKAWANNA RIVER TRAIL\,\n7th Avenue\, Scranton\, two miles easy on paved walkway.\nLots of shade for a hot summer’s day. We will see a huge variety of “Shade Trees.”\n\nDIRECTIONS:\nPark in the designated river trail parking lot on 7th Avenue in Scranton’s West Side. If you are traveling west on Lackawanna Avenue\, turn left at the U-Haul complex onto 7th Avenue. Drive about a half mile to parking lot on left. (Port-a-lav available at the trailhead.) \n\n  \n\n\nCOST OF EVENT:   $5 Suggested Donation. Payable in person or   ONLINE HERE.  \nChildren under 16 – FREE. Kayaks and life jackets provided. Bring sunscreen\, water shoes and a drink. Must be able to ambulate uneven terrain and lower yourself into and out of the kayak. Must have pre-existing knowledge of how to get into\, out of\, and safely maneuver a kayak. Tandem kayaks available by request.\n\nLimited space.
