DESCRIPTION:At Lackawanna State Park\, North Abington Twp\, PA\nSaturday\, September 7\, 2024   (3:00-4:00 pm)\n\n\n\nJoin us at Lackawanna State Park for an Intermediate Level Group Paddle. Kayaks\, paddles\, and life jackets provided. Bring sunscreen\, water shoes\, and a drink. Must be able to ambulate uneven terrain and lower yourself into and out of the kayak. Must have pre-existing knowledge of how to get into\, out of\, and safely maneuver a kayak. Tandem kayaks available by request. We are able to accommodate a limited number of paddlers bringing their own boats\, as well. First registered\, first served.\n\nLimited space. No drop-ins.\nThis event is for a maximum of 15 people and geared towards older adults.\n\n\n\n\n\nREGISTRATION REQUIRED. \nTo request to register for this class\, please contact us at programs@scrantongreenhouse.org \n\n\n\nCOST OF EVENT: \nThis event is Free of Charge to Greenhouse Project OAOA Members – and $20 for all other attendees.\n(Are you over 60 and live in Lackawanna County PA?  “OAOA” offers free events like this year round. Continue straight through Throop to traffic light at Marshwood Road. Turn right on Marshwood\nRoad and go all the way up the mountain passing the Eales Preserve and Moosic Lakes to traffic light on Route\n348. Turn left at the traffic light and go a couple of miles to Community Drive on the left. It is right before\nRitters Farm Stand and Winery.
