SUMMARY:FULL! Spring ART Workshop with Artist Renée Emanuel
DESCRIPTION:~ THANK YOU! THIS EVENT IS FULL. ~ \nA FUNdraiser benefitting The Greenhouse Project’s Public Programming\nSaturday\, April 25\, 2026   (11:00 am – 3:00 pm)\n\n\n\n\nWinter\, we’re done with you. Come welcome spring with a joyful\, one-day drawing and painting workshop at The Greenhouse Project\, led by artist Renée Emanuel.\nAlways wanted to try drawing or watercolor? Feeling a little creatively rusty? Or just craving a few hours to slow down and make something beautiful? This workshop is for you. \nTHE WORKSHOP:\nWe’ll practice the art of seeing—really noticing the shapes\, colors\, and rhythms of spring flowers—and gently translating what we observe onto paper. It’s relaxing\, meditative\, and surprisingly fun. No experience needed\, just curiosity. \nWe’ll warm up with guided drawing in the morning\, then loosen up with expressive watercolor washes in the afternoon (with a lunch break in between). Expect a welcoming\, no-pressure atmosphere where play and exploration matter more than getting things “right.” Think less perfection\, more discovery.  Come play with color\, celebrate spring\, and support a great cause—we’d love to create with you! \nTHE ARTIST:\nRenée Emanuel is an award-winning painter and teacher with an MFA from Marywood University. Her work has appeared in Country Living Magazine and exhibitions across the region and beyond. She teaches watercolor and acrylic painting in Pennsylvania and Maine—and loves helping people find their creative spark.  (See full bio below.) \nTHE DETAILS:\n$100 per person. All Art Materials are Provided. Lunch will also be Provided.\nPre-Registration and Pre-Payment required. Space is limited to 12 participants. No drop-ins. \nBring a favorite sketchbook or pencils if you like\, but it’s totally optional.\nA take-home materials list will be shared for anyone inspired to keep painting. \nBonus feel-good factor (Thank You\, Renée for your generosity!):\nEvery dollar raised supports The Greenhouse Project and its educational and community programs. \nTIME & LOCATION:\nThis event is currently full. \nSaturday\, April25\, 2026   (11:00 am to 3:00 pm)\nDoors Open 10:30 am.  Instruction Begins 11:00 am. (Please be early to begin on time.)\nEvent is held at The Greenhouse Project:  200 Arthur Ave.\, Scranton PA \n\nAgain\, Pre-Registration and Pre-Payment required. Space is limited to 12 participants. No drop-ins. \nTO REGISTER:\nThis event is currently full.\nTo request to be on a wait list\, Email us at:  programs@scrantongreenhouse.org \n\nAll proceeds for this fun day of creativity and friendship benefit The Greenhouse Project’s Community Education Programs.  Thanks for your donations and your participation! \n\n\n\nSponsored by:\nSponsored by: The Greenhouse Project\, Renée Emaunel\, and Lackawanna County Department of Arts & Culture\n\n\n\n\nRENÉE EMANUEL – FULL BIO\nRenée Emanuel is a Northeastern Pennsylvania painter and educator\, whose work bridges intimate observation\, landscape memory\, and the quiet emotional resonance of everyday objects.
